Our client is an independent power producer (IPP) that develops, builds, and operates renewable projects in Southern Europe, particularly in Portugal, Italy, and Spain.
We are looking for a Business Analyst - Strategy that shapes value-creation strategies and initiatives at the client. The Business Analyst - Strategy will work closely with client´s management team to develop a sound strategy and ensure progress towards it, including improving the value of client´s portfolio. This position will play a key role in aligning priorities with the shareholder and supporting different departments in achieving them
Responsabilidades
Shape client’s strategy
- Understand market context, gathering and analyzing information, deriving implications for the client.
- Assess strategic alternatives, exploring and evaluating available paths forward
- Present recommendations to management/ shareholders
Drive transformation and value-creation
- Identify opportunities and define initiatives to capture them
- Lead their implementation, together with other departments at the client.
- Manage overall company transformation program
Support the delivery of the strategy
- Identify and solve roadblocks for delivery of the strategy, in collaboration with Department Directors
- Optimize processes, streamline department collaboration
- Lead special projects, e.g., digitalization efforts
Create alignment
- Set up company KPI and performance management system
- Prepare top-level reporting for shareholder
Requisitos
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related field
- Experience in management consulting, M&A/ transactions or corporate strategy
- Knowledge of the energy or infrastructure sectors, with background in renewable energy strongly
preferred
- Ability to think strategically and communicate top-down
- Strong analytical capabilities
- Fluent in English and Spanish
