Job Description
The Alto Club - SO/ Sotogrande, located in the beautiful Sotogrande, Spain, is seeking a professional and customer-focused Caddy Master to join our team. As the Caddy Master, you will be responsible for overseeing all caddy operations, ensuring exceptional service to our golf club members and guests.
- Manage and coordinate daily caddy operations, including scheduling and assignments
- Train, supervise, and evaluate caddy staff to maintain high standards of service
- Ensure proper maintenance and organization of golf carts, pull carts, and caddy equipment
- Handle customer inquiries, requests, and concerns related to caddy services
- Maintain accurate records of caddy assignments, performance, and guest feedback
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance the overall golf experience for members and guests
- Oversee inventory management of caddy supplies and equipment
- Implement and enforce golf course policies and procedures
- Assist in organizing and executing golf tournaments and events
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Caddy Master or in golf course operations
- Strong knowledge of golf rules, etiquette, and equipment
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team effectively
- Proficiency in scheduling, inventory management, and basic computer skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional golf-related certifications are a plus
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Spanish is highly desirable
- Physical ability to move around the golf course and assist with equipment as necessary
