Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and creative Chef to lead our kitchen team in delivering exceptional culinary experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, a strong knowledge of culinary techniques, and the ability to manage a fast-paced kitchen environment. You will be responsible for menu planning, food preparation, staff supervision, and ensuring the highest quality of food and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to restaurant standards.
Develop and update menus with seasonal ingredients and innovative concepts.
Monitor food preparation and presentation to ensure consistency and quality.
Manage kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
Maintain inventory and order food supplies while minimizing waste and costs.
Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
Collaborate with management on cost control and budget planning.
Stay current with culinary trends and techniques.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role.
Degree or certification in Culinary Arts or relevant field preferred.
Knowledge of various cuisines and cooking techniques.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with menu engineering and food cost control.
Prior experience with inventory and kitchen management systems.
