Job Purpose:
As the Cisco Sales Senior Manager in Barcelona, you will play a pivotal role in leading a Sales function at both a strategic and tactical level, possessing deep market and channel knowledge and acts as a role model for the division providing direction, coaching and support in line with the company values.
Responsibilities:
- Develop annual plan aligned with the company strategic initiatives and fiscal goals (including Revenue, Margin, Rebates Recovery).
- Recruitment, management and retention of key staff to achieve the plan.
- Provide executive updates on the plan and insight to market, customer and competitor activities.
- Provide accurate weekly forecast including key pipeline and risk mitigation plans.
- Foster a high performance culture within the division and ensure the most effective organisation of the team and its use of tools to maximise sales and customer satisfaction.
- Influence internal stakeholders to ensure the Company maintains outstanding service levels to its customers in Sales, Operations, Reporting, Customer Service and Credit
- Understand sales process; develop a thorough understand of the Turbo Sales methodology and ensure principles are implemented throughout team(s). Maintain rigour of Key Performance Indicator (KPI) and Fiscal attainment.
- Maintain close relationships with senior stakeholders in key customers and vendors
- Exploit business growth with route to market strategies and key market influencers.
- Work proactively with vendors and/or Focused Business Units (FBU's) / General Sales to realise incremental business opportunities
- Work closely with Marketing teams to optimise the Divisional Value Proposition.
- Actively participate in the company leadership team.
Knowledge Skills and Experience:
- Strong sales leader and performance manager
- Strong communication, motivation and relationship management skills
- Ability to engage and influence at board level in TD SYNNEX and its largest customers.
- 5-10 years business to business experience with a strong track record of achieving results
- 5 years sales management experience
- Commercially astute
- Problem solving skills
- Strategic thinking
- Numerate and analytical
- Excellent Planning and Organisational Skills
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Coaching and people development techniques and systems
- P&L ownership experience (where applicable)
- IT related industry knowledge
