As a DevOps/Automation Engineer , you will be a member of the Application Delivery team within IT INF WPX in Sant Cugat del Vallès, where you will be able to perform, among others, the following activities:
- Manage, define and improve the processes, roadmap and documentation for Web Hosting related systems
- Develop scripts to automate tasks and manual processes within the team and Application Delivery processes
- Develop software solutions and automations to support software management and lifecycle processes
- Design, develop, and maintain data and interactive reports and dashboards using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar
- Drive and implement DevOps processes including CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, automated testing, monitoring, and continuous improvement to
- accelerate software delivery and ensure system reliability
- Resolve third-level incidents for technologies used in the service
- Interact and provide consultancy to business stakeholders
- Collaborate with other IT teams in different tasks, including definition and update processes related to the software management and web application hosting

- Develop and maintain automation and software solutions
- Manage projects related to the service
- Ensure the quality, consistency, and reliability of data used in reporting and business applications
- Interact with various IT departments and business stakeholders
- Manage and maintain infrastructure components necessary to host web applications
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Engineering or other
- min. English level B2
- Experience developing code, scripting, tasks automation and version control tools (Ansible, JavaScript, PowerShell, HTML/CSS, Python, Bitbucket…)
- Experience in Microsoft systems administration (Active Directory, GPOs…)
- Experience in IIS administration, HTTP(S), and web redirections
- Experience in development, APIs management and Web Services
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines, Bamboo).
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, ITIL frameworks…
- Valuable: knowledge of ServiceNow development
- Valuable: knowledge of Linux systems administration
- Valuable: knowledge of databases (MySQL, SQL, Postgre, MongoDB…)
- Ability to communicate with different stakeholders and internal customers Ability to identify and resolve problems and provide recommendations for resolution and improvements
