Job description
Berlitz Palma is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated English Instructor to teach in-person group classes in Calvià, Consell and Palma (Islas Baleares).
Classes in Calvià:
- Location: in person classes in Calvià (Islas Baleares)
- Schedule: Wednesdays, 15:00–18:00, from September 17th to October 20th with the chance of more classes
- Format: In-person, group classes
Classes in Consell:
- Location: in person classes in Consell (Islas Baleares)
- Schedule: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 16:00–17:00, starting September 2nd and running until December 30th with the chance of more classes
- Format: In-person, group classes
- Level: B1.1
Classes in Palma:
- Location: in person classes in Palma (Carrer Gremi de Boters, Nord, 07009 Palma, Illes Balears)
- Schedule: Wednesdays 8:30–11:30, starting September 3nd and running until December 10th with the chance of more classes
- Format: In-person, three back to back private students
- Level: A2.1, B1.1 and one level to be confirmed
We are looking for a passionate instructor who is available to commit to the schedule above and is eager to provide high-quality language instruction in a dynamic, immersive environment. Additional in-person and online hours may be available for the right candidate.
Teaching Philosophy

The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Teaching English according to the Berlitz Method.
- Deliver high quality, learner-centered instruction.
- Help students achieve their goals.
- Create a positive classroom atmosphere.
- Mileage reimbursement for instructors commuting from outside Calvià/Consell

Your Profile
- C2 speaker of English
- Bachelor degree or equivalent qualification
- Own a car or live near Calvià/Consell (mileage reimbursed if commuting)
- Strong communication, presentation and organizational skills
- Flexible, well prepared and responsive to group needs
- Friendly, sociable and patient
