Position: Factory Controller – Santpedor
The Factory Controller is part of the Global Business Controlling team and supports the Supply Chain and Factory organization in Santpedor, working closely with other manufacturing plants in Germany, the Netherlands, and the United States. This key role is responsible for ensuring the accurate reporting of the organization’s financial health.
In close collaboration with responsible managers, the Factory Controller helps define financial goals, drives continuous improvement, and provides analysis-based recommendations to future-proof Vanderlande’s manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Management and Analysis
- Execute core responsibilities within factory controlling, ensuring robust financial management.
- Collect, analyze, and report financial data related to factory operations to support decision-making.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement them while maintaining organizational capabilities.
- Collaborate across functions to align financial efforts with overall strategic objectives.
2. Analytical Thinking and Insight Generation
- Apply advanced analytical skills to resolve complex financial and operational challenges.
- Identify financial risks and opportunities proactively, and provide actionable insights.
- Develop and apply analytical tools to support data-driven decision-making.
3. Communication and Collaboration
- Clearly communicate complex financial concepts to stakeholders at all levels.
- Partner with operational teams to provide insights that shape strategic decisions.
- Present findings and recommendations to the Management Team, ensuring understanding and buy-in.
4. Reporting and Compliance
- Prepare reports and presentations for senior management and conduct ad hoc financial analyses as needed.
- Ensure full compliance with the company’s financial policies and procedures.
5. Continuous Improvement and Project Involvement
- Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and participate in ad hoc projects.
- Lead and document monthly financial review meetings with relevant team members to support accurate forecasting.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in finance roles with a strong track record in financial management within a manufacturing organization.
- Proficiency in financial software and analytical tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Effective communicator and team player with the ability to multitask and plan efficiently.
- Self-starter focused on outcomes and professional growth in an international and ambitious environment.
- Demonstrates ownership, accountability, and high standards of integrity in financial matters.
