Role Responsibilities
• Manage & have full control of a P&L generated across a variety of markets.
• Provide finance support to the Country Managers in developing business strategies, generating sustainable growth, and managing and improving profitability and compliance.
Internal:
o Support annual budgeting and strategic planning process.
o Support the month-end close process, with tight focus on controls.
o Prepare and present financial results as part of internal business reviews.
o Support monthly S&OP process, with focus on validation and monetization of volume forecast and management of risks and opportunities.
o Partner credit management team, ensuring timely collection of receivables.
o Act as key interface with other internal departments (e.g. Marketing, Legal, Tax, Controlling, FP&A).
o Support ad-hoc projects/analytics (e.g. distributor transitions, market expansions, price repositioning).
External:
o Support Country Managers in negotiations with distributors (distribution agreement renewals and annual business plans), with a focus on pricing.
o Attend quarterly business reviews for key distributors & monitor distributor performance against annual business plans, including key metrics (distributor depletions, inventory levels, market share, etc.).
o Visit local markets to gather market intelligence and build relationships with the distributors’ teams
o Validate and track distributor claims in relation to trade & brand investment rebates.
Qualifications
• Degree qualified with relevant Business/Finance/Accounting qualification
• Minimum 3-4 years of diversified finance/consulting experience
• Fluent in English
• A team player who strives in a challenging and fast-moving environment
• Strong analytical skills
• Proactive approach to problem solving
• Strong time manager, able to prioritize a diverse workload and deadlines
• Attention to detail
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a culturally and functionally diverse environment
• MS Office skills (esp. Excel) are a must & SAP experience preferred
