FinOps Executive
Join our Finance Operations team as a FinOps Executive, where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless financial flow of our business. This position is at the heart of our operations, providing essential financial support and expertise across diverse departments.
You will be a primary financial liaison, offering comprehensive operational support to our Account Management and Customer Service Management teams who operate across 13 European countries, including the UK and Ireland.
To succeed in this role, you need to be able to understand the big picture, while also being unafraid to dive into the details and investigate to get issues resolved!
You will be responsible for:
- Ad hoc/bi-monthly/monthly sales invoice generation
- Investigating and handling credit card and Paypal disputes
- Offering support during invoice & payment-runs
- Reconciling transactions to statements and correcting any discrepancies
- Making appropriate adjustments to transactional commission and tax totals
- Checking stalled orders and ensuring payment to the partner
- Importing salon receipts on a daily basis
- Creating customer charges and refunds
- Managing updates to customers financial details
- Processing Bulk Gift Card orders and invoice generation
- Managing various finance ticket queues in a timely manner
- Resolving queries raised in the finance support Slack channel
- Ad hoc tasks to help the team out as necessary
About you:
- A positive and proactive team player with strong communication skills.
- 1+ years of experience in a numbers-focused role, such as administration, financial analysis, or operations
- Able to work effectively in a multi-tasking and pressured environment
- Fantastic attention to detail and organisational skills
- Confidence in working with numbers and spreadsheets, with relevant Excel experience.
- Able to work under own initiative and with colleagues located in multiple locations
- A passion for scale-up environments, where you will thrive with the pace
- Fluency in English, an additional European language will be a plus
