About The Role
As Ogury continues to grow, we are seeking a Global Director of People Operations to lead the operational foundation of our People function. This role is instrumental in enabling People team excellence and operational scalability through the continuous improvement of tools, systems, documentation, and processes.
You will oversee the strategy and execution of global People Operations, including employee lifecycle processes, HR systems, benefits administration, payroll and compliance. You will also lead and develop a team of People Operations professionals and be a key partner to stakeholders like People Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Legal, Finance, and IT.
This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who thrives on structure, process optimization, and building high-performing teams in a dynamic global environment.
What You Will Do
- Lead and scale a high-performing People Operations team, fostering a culture of operational excellence, continuous improvement, and high accountability
- Oversee and optimize all core People processes globally — including onboarding, mobility, performance cycles, offboarding, payroll and compliance
- Develop and manage a global benefits strategy, ensuring competitiveness, regional compliance, cost-efficiency, and an excellent employee experience
- Own the global People tech stack, with responsibility for system performance, data integrity, and cross-system integration. Experience with BambooHR and/or Lattice is a strong plus
- Drive automation, documentation, and standardization of People processes to support scalability and efficiency
- Define and monitor key operational KPIs to evaluate team performance, service delivery, and process health
- Ensure strong governance and compliance in employee data management (GDPR, regional labor laws, audit readiness)
- Partner with internal stakeholders to support global expansion, organizational change, and People programs
- Build a self-service and enablement culture through clear and accessible documentation, training resources, and knowledge management
- Collaborate with senior People leaders to support performance cycles, compensation reviews, and organizational planning
Who You Are
- 8+ years of experience in People Operations, HR Systems, or HR Shared Services, with at least 3 years in a people management or leadership capacity
- Demonstrated success leading, coaching, and developing global People Ops teams in high-growth, fast-paced organizations
- Proven experience managing HR systems and tools (preferably BambooHR, Lattice, or equivalents), and driving system-based improvements
- Experienced at navigating ambiguity and leading teams through transformation, while maintaining focus on clarity, adaptability, and execution
- Comfortable building and scaling people processes across multiple geographies, balancing global consistency with local nuance
- High attention to detail, documentation, and process ownership mindset
- Strong communicator with the ability to influence and build alignment across functions and levels
- Excellent analytical and project management skills, with a track record of delivering large-scale process improvements
- A good understanding of global benefits design, administration, and vendor management
- Strong understanding of global HR compliance, data privacy, and local labor regulations
