About the job
We are seeking a high-impact DSP (Demand-Side Platform) Strategy Lead to join our Global eCommerce Performance Marketing team in Barcelona. In this outcome-focused role, you will lead the Amazon DSP and Omnichannel DSP strategy across 10 key markets, with a clear mandate to drive measurable business impact and growth.
You will design and deploy a data- and AI-led programmatic strategy, leveraging advanced tools like Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC) to unlock insights and create strategic differentiation. Working in close partnership with brand, content, platform partners, and media operations teams, your role will ensure DSP campaigns move beyond delivery delivering transformation at scale.
Key Responsibilities
Performance-Driven Global DSP Strategy
  • Lead the global Amazon DSP and Omnichannel DSP strategy in line with eCommerce Media leads, local eCommerce and brand teams and in coordination with Search eRetail media campaigns.
  • Define strategic frameworks and KPIs to drive incremental sales, new-to-brand acquisition, and customer lifetime value.
Growth & New Consumer Acquisition
  • Build full-funnel DSP strategies focused on acquiring new customers, loyalty and accelerating performance across the consumer journey.
  • Use first- and third-party data to reach, engage, and convert new-to-brand audiences at scale.
Advanced Use Cases & Analytics
  • Design and lead advanced programmatic use cases in key markets using Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC) to analyze media performance, audience overlap, and path-to-conversion insights.
  • Translate complex data outputs into clear recommendations for campaign refinement and future planning and scale best practices across markets
AI & Innovation Integration
  • Partner with our tech partners and industry leaders (amazon and Omnichannel players) to incorporate innovation into our DSP plans
  • Continuously test and adopt tools that enhance campaign intelligence, personalization, and ROI.
Creative Collaboration for Personalization
  • Work closely with content and creative teams to develop personalized ad experiences informed by audience insights and behavioral data.
  • Ensure the creative messaging aligns with eCommerce best practices as well as the Brand guidelines
Capability Building & Execution Excellence
  • Empower Markets: Upskill regional eCommerce Media teams on DSP strategy, execution, and measurement to drive local ownership and performance.
  • Ensure Operational Precision: Align closely with DSP specialists in the operations hub to guarantee flawless campaign setup, activation, and ongoing optimization.
  • Systematize Performance: Develop a scalable framework—including planning processes, campaign templates, and optimization protocols—to drive consistency, efficiency, and continuous improvement globally.
About you:
  • Extensive experience in digital media strategy with a focus on programmatic platforms like Amazon DSP
  • Proven track record of using Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC) for insight generation and strategy optimization.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive incremental growth and acquire new customers through data-driven campaigns.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience integrating AI tools for smarter media planning and activation.
  • Deep knowledge of audience targeting, measurement frameworks, and media attribution.
  • Experience working in complex, matrixed organizations with both global and local stakeholders.
  • Strong collaboration skills across media, content, insights, and commercial teams.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
  • Fluent in English; other languages a plus.
