Global Head of Data & Integration Platforms (f/m/d) (100%)


We are seeking an experienced and visionary Global Head of Data Platform & Integration to lead our data strategy and integration initiatives. This role is responsible for delivering valuable data insights, building a self-service data platform, and enhancing our integration platform to support business growth and innovation. The ideal candidate will drive data quality improvements, enable AI capabilities, and ensure seamless data integration across the organization.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Deliver valuable data insights to enable informed, data-backed decision-making
  • Design and implement a self-service data platform based on the data mesh paradigm, covering both operational (real-time) and analytical (near-time) plans
  • Take full ownership of the global data platform and integration platform
  • Develop and implement a global canonical data model
  • Build and scale a high-performing global data team
  • Continuously improve internal and external customer satisfaction
  • Enable AI capabilities to enhance business intelligence and automation
  • Drive data quality improvements by addressing issues at the source
  • Enhance our integration platform to ensure seamless data connectivity
  • Establish data governance and ensure data security

Your ideal profile:

  • 8+ years of experience in IT, with a strong focus on data and integration
  • 4+ years of leadership experience, managing international teams
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Strong conviction and experience in data mesh principles
  • Degree in computer science, information technology or equivalent
  • Experience in consumer goods or retail (>5 years)
  • Exposure to the fashion, retail, FMCG industry would be beneficial
  • Proven experience in building data platforms using cloud technologies such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure
  • Deep understanding of event-driven architecture and streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka, Confluent, Solace)
  • Understanding of integration technologies (e.g. Dell Boomi)
  • Expertise in domain-oriented data modeling
  • A role model with a solid set of personal values
  • Ability to influence and drive changes across the organization
  • Highly focused with a results-driven mindset
  • Language: English
