Wood is recruiting for a H.O. Constructability Engineer to join its process & chemicals business focusing on a comprehensive range of engineering and project management services and are market-leading integrators of refinery and petrochemicals facilities, driving innovation in sustainable fuels and advanced materials for the energy transition.
The Role
H.O. Constructability Engineer will be responsible for providing construction-oriented inputs and guidance on project strategies. Prepare and review project-specific procedures, technical documentation, and scopes of work. Lead contractor assessments, coordinate construction activities, and ensure quality assurance and compliance with project requirements.

- Prepare project specific procedures on construction execution, construction quality control and material management, as necessary to meet Projects requirements
- Define construction execution, construction quality control, and material management requirements - and other technical documentation as necessary to meet Project requirements - to be included in the tendering documentation for the execution of construction works
- Liaise, aid and support to site teams, involving other departments as necessary
- Coordinate remotely early activities of construction contractors; coordinate activities of heavy/out of gage transport contractors
- Assess construction priorities and installation sequences and act as focal point towards Clients, site teams, and construction contractors on construction engineering matters
- Execute feasibility studies for the execution of critical lifting and critical transport activities.
- Review of method of statement, procedures and detailed drawings provided by construction contractors

Expected:
- Engineering degree
- Fully proficient in English
- Typically requires a minimum of 3-7 years of experience in the execution of EPC projects, including at least 1-2 years of site experience
- Fully proficient in English
- Holding a valid permit to live and work in Spain is required
- Ability to communicate in an articulate manner with international clients, and construction contractors
Desirable:
- Experience in Modules Fabrication and Transport project
