Lead the opening of one of mallorca’s most unique and meaningful new luxury hotels
Son Valenti Agricultura y Hoteleria – part of the Fournais group, is looking for an experienced and ambitious General Manager to lead our upcoming hotel opening for Hotel Banyalbufar.
ABOUT HOTEL BANYALBUFAR
Located on Mallorca’s stunning west coast, in the village of Banyalbufar - one of the island’s most
magical and untouched coastal villages - Hotel Banyalbufar promises breathtaking sunsets, raw
natural beauty, and a deep sense of peace.
The hotel is a transformation and complete renovation of the former Hotel Sa Coma. Hotel Banyalbufar will be a premium destination focused on local authenticity, sustainability, wellness, and uncompromising guest experiences – offering guests the opportunity to fully enjoy life, food, and nature in beautiful surroundings, with unique and personalized service. It combines a deep respect for the local Mallorquin heritage with a special focus on healthy, delicious, locally produced food and the optimal conditions to embrace an active lifestyle in one of the most spectacular locations in the world.
Hotel Banyalbufar will feature a total of 30 exceptional rooms, including 5 suites.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Hotel Banyalbufar is scheduled to open in June 2026, and we are looking for an exceptional General Manager candidate to join us in January to lead the pre-opening phase and ensure the hotel’s successful launch and ongoing operations.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
In close collaboration with Fournais (owner of Son Valenti Agricultura y Hoteleria):
- Recruiting and training the team (reception, housekeeping, kitchen, F&B, wellness,
- Setting up operations and procedures
- Planning the hotel opening and managing logistics
- Leading local marketing initiatives
- Creating a strong culture with passionate team members committed to deliver
- Managing budgeting, forecasting, and follow up with full financial responsibility
YOUR PROFILE:
- Extensive experience in luxury hospitality and high-end hotel operations
- A proven track record with hotel openings
- Strong leadership and communication skills, combined with a hands-on mindset
- The ability to balance strategic thinking and the bigger picture with operational executionand attention to detail – while building strong teams and culture
- Fluency in English and Spanish; German is a plus
- A passion for personalized guest experiences, aesthetics, service, and sustainability
- The ability to thrive with responsibility and work effectively both independently and a part of the team
