Job Summary
This role ensures secure, scalable, and efficient management of digital identities and collaboration tools across the organization. The Identity & Collaboration Engineer is responsible for optimizing Azure Active Directory, on-prem Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 services, while supporting secure collaboration and automation. The position plays a key role in enabling seamless digital collaboration, ensuring compliance, and supporting business growth through integration of new companies. This role directly contributes to strengthening cybersecurity, improving operational efficiency, and enhancing the digital workplace experience.
Responsibilities
Key Accountabilities
- Ensure the effective administration and optimization of Azure Active Directory and on-prem Active Directory services, supporting hybrid identity environments.
- Govern and continuously improve Microsoft 365 collaboration tools (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive) to enhance productivity and ensure compliance.
- Manage and optimize the existing Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and Conditional Access policies to safeguard digital identities.
- Lead the organization's adoption of passwordless authentication methods to improve user experience and security.
- Design and implement governance frameworks for collaboration tools, balancing ease of use with corporate policies and regulations.
- Automate and streamline identity and collaboration operations through scripting (PowerShell, Microsoft Graph API).
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for identity, authentication, and collaboration issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Collaborate on the integration of newly acquired companies, ensuring smooth onboarding to corporate identity and collaboration environments.
- Partner closely with Cybersecurity, Digital Infrastructure & Cloud, Digital Innovation, and Data & Analytics teams to align services with overall IT strategy and security standards.
- Maintain clear and detailed documentation of identity processes, configurations, governance rules, and operational procedures.

Qualifications
Minimum Knowledge & Experience required for the position:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in identity management and collaboration technologies.
- Proven expertise in Azure Active Directory and on-prem Active Directory administration.
- Deep technical knowledge of Microsoft 365 collaboration tools (Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive).
- Hands-on experience managing MFA and Conditional Access policies in a production environment (MFA already deployed).
- Solid experience with automation and scripting (PowerShell, Graph API).
- Strong understanding of hybrid identity architectures and synchronization.
- Experience designing and implementing governance models for collaboration platforms.
- Previous involvement in identity and collaboration processes during M&A integrations is highly valued.
