The Purchasing department has a vacancy in its team for the following position:
Indirect Buyer
The Indirect Buyer develop and manage all supply management and negotiation for all assigned spare part, utilities and services at Centrient Pharmaceuticals Spain.
The main activities and responsibilities
- Manage procurement of assigned spare parts, utilities and services for Santa Perpetua Site, coordinate with internal clients, provide market information, report performance versus market prices, analysis of alternatives and conduct contracting & negotiation with suppliers
- Improve price, quality and delivery times conditions, ensuring achievement of annual targets.
- Execute Category Plans for each category assigned.
- Organize supplier portfolio and reduce transactional workload through appropriate solutions.
- Recognize supply risks and prepare contingency plans.
- Engage with Suppliers and Markets, and deliver new insights, innovations and opportunities to Centrient.
- Maintain, update and ensure correct vendor master data in ERP system (Key User).
- Ensure all applicable policies are followed and delegation of authority levels are respected and PTP process.
- Co-ordinate closely with other functions as needed, both within and outside Procurement (e.g. quality, planning, AP).
- Support in reporting on KPIs where relevant.
- Support the different stakeholders in the purchasing process.
Requirements
The Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor degree in Business Administration / Supply Chain Management / Finance
- Knowledge of SAP MM, SAP Ariba & Microsoft Office
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
- 5 years of experience in a broad supply management and negotiation.
