A&M’s Disputes and Investigations (DI) practice provides forensic accounting and dispute advisory services to clients within a wide variety of industries. The practice brings a practical, results-oriented approach to solving problems related to forensic accounting investigations, financial disputes, regulatory interventions, and technical accounting issues.
We are currently seeking to recruit a forensic accounting Intern to be based in Madrid to support our Disputes & Investigations practice in Spain and across Europe, full time during 6 months, starts as soon as possible. The successful candidate will:
- Work closely with our Managing Director and Senior Directors / Directors on a variety of assignments in Spain and internationally
- Use forensic accounting skills to investigate fraud and other financial misrepresentation
- Assist with compiling, analyzing, and documenting information in an investigation, dispute, or accounting related matter
- Assist in the performance of complex financial models and analyses
- Assist in the preparation of Expert Witness reports of a financial or economic nature
- Assist with drafting reports and other client deliverables
- Assist with researching technical and industry specific issues
- Develop and suggest solutions to complex problems by thinking “outside the box”
- Balance multiple client projects and other responsibilities
- Communicate effectively to all levels of engagement management
