About this role
As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for organizing, implementing, and maintaining the internal IT infrastructure, including systems, networks, applications, and equipment that enable the company to operate efficiently. Your mission is to ensure that the company’s technology supports business needs effectively, securely, and reliably. You will also contribute to the implementation of technological improvements, process automation, and user support.
This role involves leading internal IT projects, maintaining asset management, performing audits, and ensuring compliance with security standards such as ISO 27001, ENS, and HDS.
You will
Provide direct technical support to end users, resolving incidents and addressing inquiries related to devices, software, and IT services.
Manage and maintain internal systems, networks, and infrastructure to ensure reliability, efficiency, and security.
Coordinate the setup and provisioning of equipment and tools for new employees, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.
Recondition and inventory returned equipment after employee offboarding.
Monitor internal systems and networks to detect and address failures or vulnerabilities proactively.
Ensure timely updates and security patches are applied to all systems, applications, and devices.
Plan and implement IT policies and procedures to guarantee best practices and strengthen internal IT security.
Collaborate with the Head of Security to protect data, manage access controls, and secure backup systems.
Conduct regular audits of asset inventory, permissions, and compliance with policies and procedures.
Lead and support internal IT projects aimed at improving functionality, security, scalability, and efficiency.
Coordinate with managers across departments to ensure proper implementation of IT solutions.
Manage user accounts and profiles, ensuring appropriate access to systems, applications, and resources.
Research and implement innovative technologies and IT processes to enhance internal efficiency and security.
Automate repetitive tasks and contribute to continuous process improvement.
Support integrations (e.g., SSO), audits, compliance efforts, and the implementation of new technologies.
Languages
Spanish: Native or fluent.
English: Professional working proficiency.
What We Are Looking For
Higher Education Degree in Information Technology, Systems Administration, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and basic Linux system administration.
Experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Intune.
Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, networks, and troubleshooting techniques.
Knowledge of system hardening, access control, antivirus/antimalware tools, and IT security policies.
Experience in process automation and technical support.
Ability to identify repetitive tasks and develop automated solutions.
Strong documentation skills to maintain clear and up-to-date technical records.
