Your mission
As LaFinteca continues to grow exponentially across LATAM, building a strong, reliable, and highly skilled Compliance team is essential. We’re currently looking for a Compliance Analyst to join our team to support the onboarding and verification of new merchants and partners. In this role, the analyst will play a key part in supporting our operations by analyzing the regulatory frameworks of the countries where we operate, evaluating the risk profiles of new clients and partners, and bringing their expertise in contract law to help guide business decisions.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Enhance compliance processes by identifying opportunities to improve adherence to regulatory requirements and internal company standards.
- Monitor and stay up to date regarding new regulatory changes, ensuring a constant alignment between industry rules and practices.
- Screen potential merchants and partners to verify they meet all legal and regulatory standards.
- Monitoring of existing clients and services, applying the latest AML rules and regulations.
- Update and implement policies relevant to regulated activities to maintain compliance and operational excellence.
- Draft and review agreements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company standards and legal requirements.
Your profile
- Lawyer with up to 2 years of experience working as a Compliance Analyst, or similar roles.
- You have experience with AML regulation.
- Fluent in English and Spanish (Portuguese is always a nice to have!).
- You are familiar with Regulatory Compliance in the Fintech Industry (nice to have!).
- Critical thinking and results driven mindset.
- Knowledge of excel
