Join our expert team to work on a Pharmaceutical Sector project, contributing to the verification and validation of In Vitro Diagnostic (IVD) Systems. You’ll apply your knowledge and clinical laboratory background to ensure the correct performance of reagents and instruments that will impact thousands of patients worldwide. How do we make this happen?
With people. Besides your team and manager, you’ll have several support figures like a godparent, who will help you with the practical and administrative aspects of daily life during your first 6 months. ️✨
And the second most important person after you, your mentor, who will guide you through your entire onboarding and career at ERNI. You’ll have regular 1:1 meetings with them, and recurrently, you’ll work on your development plan to define your short-, medium-, and long-term goals.

What will you bring?
Higher education in Clinical and Biomedical Laboratory or Quality Control Laboratory
You’ll be working in a regulated pharmaceutical environment, so a solid background in lab procedures and data interpretation is essential.
- Good knowledge of Office tools (Excel, Word…)You'll need to document test results, maintain traceability, and prepare reports using standard tools.
- High level of English Our main clients are based in Switzerland, so strong communication skills in English are key for understanding documentation and participating in meetings.
- Previous lab experience is a plus This is a junior role, but any experience in a clinical or quality control lab will be highly valued, especially with tasks like sample handling, equipment care, or data entry.
You will be responsible for:
- Executing tests to perform verification/validation protocols of IVD Systems (instruments and reagents), ensuring proper traceability.
- Detecting trends or deviations in the control data of analyses.
- Caring for equipment and instrumentation, performing maintenance as required.
- Ensuring correct and responsible use of laboratory instrumentation.
- Preparing and managing reagents and materials, stock control, identification and preservation.
- Applying Quality System procedures relevant to your role.

In this project, your presence is key. You’ll work on-site every day at our client’s facilities in Parets del Vallès, collaborating closely with teams and instruments that require physical handling.
