The role
We are actively looking for a maintenance technician to help oversee all aspects of the maintenance within our new site in Torija near Madrid. You will be managing the the activity around the maintenance of equipment and physical assets which will include building, office space and machinery.
You will be creating maintenance schedules, conduct site inspections that will identify areas requiring extra maintenance work, supervise maintenance workers as well as perform minor on site repairs. You will work with contractors to make sure that major repairs are undertaken, provide feedback to the site manager for any major maintenance concerns and control and monitor the inventory.
This role is pivotal to the site as the maintenance and safe operation of the equipment is key to meeting the customer's expectations and service level agreements.
So, who are we looking for?
Key skills and experience include:
- Experience of maintaining equipment and office buildings in a warehouse or manufacturing site.
- Previously managed external contractors and provided work schedules.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and complete work as required.
- Fluency in Spanish is essential.
