About the role:
We are seeking a seasoned Program Manager with over 20 years of experience, including extensive leadership in the Telecom domain. The ideal candidate will oversee multiple interconnected projects, ensuring strategic alignment with business goals, optimal resource utilization, and successful delivery across the program lifecycle. This role demands exceptional skills in stakeholder management, cross-functional coordination, risk governance, and change management. A strong background in agile methodologies, program governance frameworks, and team leadership is essential.
In this role, you will:
Define and manage program scope, objectives, and success criteria aligned with organizational strategy.
Lead the execution of multiple projects under the program umbrella, ensuring integration and synergy.
Develop and maintain program roadmaps, timelines, budgets, and resource plans.
Establish governance structures and reporting mechanisms to monitor program health and performance.
Identify and mitigate program-level risks and dependencies.
Drive agile transformation and adoption of best practices across teams.
Engage with senior stakeholders to communicate progress, resolve issues, and align expectations.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
Mentor project managers and team leads to build leadership capacity and delivery excellence.
Promote the use of new technologies and methodologies to enhance program outcomes.
What you need to have to be considered:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
20+ years of experience in program and project management, with a strong focus on the Telecom sector.
Demonstrated success in managing large-scale, complex programs involving multiple projects and teams.
Expertise in program governance, strategic planning, and portfolio management.
Strong proficiency in agile methodologies, Scrum practices, and scaled agile frameworks (SAFe).
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive collaboration.
Advanced problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
Experience with program management tools and enterprise-level reporting systems.
Familiarity with emerging technologies and trends in the Telecom industry.
Certifications: PgMP, PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), or equivalent.
