VHIR is seeking to fill a vacancy for a Neurologist Specialised in neuromuscular disease and clinical trials within the Peripheral Nervous System Unit.
Education and qualifications:
Required:
- Medical Degree
- Neurologist with an interest in neuromuscular diseases
Desired:
- Specific or additional training in clinical trials related to neuromuscular diseases
- Interest in pursuing a doctoral thesis in neuromuscular diseases (such as Myasthenia, Myopathies, Neuropathies, or Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis)
Experience and knowledge:
Required:
- Neurologist who has completed training in Neurology Demonstrated interest in neuromuscular diseases
Desired:
- Knowledge of clinical trials
- Ability to write Scientific reports
Main responsibilities and duties:
- Coordinate/Manage clinical trials.
- Give support in Neuromuscular Unit consultations.
- Prepare/Organize clinical trials and the follow up of patients with neuromuscular diseases.
- 2 days a week for research in neuromuscular disorders.
Labour conditions:
- Part-time position: 20h/week
- Starting date: immediate
- Gross annual salary: 15.000,00 euros. Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale
- Contract: Technical and scientific activities contract linked to the project activities
