We are looking for a BESS Product Manager who will be responsible for defining, developing, and evolving the portfolio of solar energy and energy storage solutions, aligning Greenvolt Next’s offering with market needs, internal technical capabilities, and the commercial strategy.
Main responsibilities:
- Product lifecycle management: from ideation, design, and validation to launch, evolution, and market withdrawal.
- Continuous market and competitor analysis: identify technology trends, unmet needs, competitive moves, and entry barriers.
- Development of differentiated value propositions: define solutions tailored to various target segments (industrial, commercial, energy communities, etc.), highlighting benefits and use cases.
- Go-to-market strategy: coordinate pricing, sales channels, commercial materials, internal training, and deployment timeline.
- Cross-departmental collaboration: work closely with engineering, sales, operations, legal, and customer support to ensure that products are viable, competitive, and scalable.
- Supervision of product and marketing materials: lead the creation of technical and commercial content (technical datasheets, brochures, success stories, webinars, etc.).
- Product KPI monitoring: measure adoption, customer satisfaction, deployment time, margin, profitability, and ROI of product-related campaigns.
- Identification of improvement opportunities: assess the performance of current solutions (e.g. BESS) and drive improved versions or new solutions.
- Act as internal point of reference: be the “product expert” within the organization and support training and strategic alignment.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or similar
- Postgraduate training in renewable energy, product management, or commercial strategy is a plus
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in product management in the energy or industrial sector
- In-depth knowledge of the self-consumption market, energy storage, and applicable regulations
- Experience in the development and launch of complex technical solutions, preferably B2B
- Attention to detail and advanced planning and organizational skills
- Leadership and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to solve complex problems and make informed decisions under high-pressure situations
- Analytical skills to interpret trends, competition, and market needs
- Strategic vision and results-oriented mindset
- Interpersonal skills to coordinate technical, commercial, and marketing areas
