Operations takes care of all production related activities within the battery cell production. Our responsibilities vary from planning, constructing and rolling out the forthcoming battery cell factories. Furthermore, planning and implementing operating functions such as logistics, quality, production and plant management is also key elements within the area of operations.
In this role, your expertise will be essential for conducting Computed Tomography cell analyses and developing and refining testing methods. You will be instrumental in the planning, construction, ramp-up, and execution of test equipment. Analyzing and summarizing test results to support the Head of Laboratory in decision-making processes will also be a crucial part of your responsibilities, ensuring the smooth operation of related activities. You will collaborate with the Power Co Global Laboratory Network and experts in ZellCo Salzgitter, PowerCo HQ Salzgitter, and PowerCo Canada to continuously develop and enhance standards and processes pertinent to the Standard Factory concept.
1. Quality Control Testing:
- Conduct routine and non-routine Computed Tomography analysis on in-process and finished
- Develop and validate testing methods and procedures.
- Analyze test data and generate comprehensive reports on product quality.
- Utilize statistical tools to evaluate product consistency and performance.
- Identify and investigate quality issues, determine root causes, and implement effective corrective
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and projects to enhance product quality and
- Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in Computed Tomography analyses and
- Facilitate knowledge transfer within PowerCo Valencia and promote resource sharing across the
- Oversee the maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment to ensure accurate testing
- Assist in procuring laboratory supplies and equipment.
- Provide training and guidance to laboratory staff on testing procedures and quality standards.
- Master’s degree or higher in radiology, physics or comparable studies.
- Knowledge of electrochemistry and comprehensive understanding of automotive batteries.
- Knowledge of analytical instruments, principle, and application (Computed Tomography).
- Good laboratory understanding, good communication and presentation skills.
- At least 5-years’ experience in analysis laboratory.
- Fluent in English.
- MS Office.
