RevenueCat removes the headaches of building and scaling in‑app subscriptions. Since graduating from YC’s S18 batch we’ve grown into the default monetization platform for mobile: we’re in >40% of newly shipped subscription apps, we process $8B+ in annual purchase volume, and we help everyone from a solo dev in Brazil to the OpenAI mobile team understand and grow their revenue.
We’re a remote‑first crew of 100+, guided by values we actually practice: Customer Obsession, Always Be Shipping, Own It, and Balance. If you want your work to touch hundreds of millions of end‑users (and help the developers behind them get paid), you’ll fit right in.
The Role
RevenueCat is a lot of things for a lot of different users: Easy to integrate and maintain subscription infrastructure for engineers, a way to increase conversion and revenue for product teams, a source of invaluable insights for marketers, and the place where you support your paying customers for support teams. We're also (very) committed to connecting to – and learning from – all these different types of users.
That's where events come in: Most of us regularly attend, speak at, and manage the booth at events for all kinds of audiences, all around the world. It's an opportunity to learn from the different types of people that use RevenueCat on a day to day basis, to spend some face-time with our colleagues, and maybe collect a lead or two (thousand) while we're at it.
We're looking for an Event Manager to join the team responsible for these in-person events, as well as the virtual events we regularly organise to connect to our audience remotely. Working alongside Sabrina, our Events Lead, you'll drive strategic initiatives across our event calendar, own complex logistics, and lead creative efforts as we strive to leave a lasting impression.
As our next Event Manager, you'll immediately take ownership of major event programs and lead cross-functional initiatives that align events with broader company objectives. You'll mentor other team members and independently drive company-critical event strategies.
What you'll be responsible for
You'll collaborate on event strategy development, own complex multi-stakeholder projects, and drive operational excellence across our event portfolio. You'll independently manage sponsored conferences, webinars, side-events, and lead the development of RevenueCat's flagship conference initiatives.
Within the first month, you'll:
Conduct comprehensive analysis of RevenueCat's event ecosystem and identify strategic optimization opportunities
Establish yourself as a key strategic partner across Marketing, Sales, Success, and Product teams
Present your "first ship" showcasing a significant strategic initiative, such as:
A comprehensive event ROI framework and measurement system
A new event format or experience that drives measurable business impact
A strategic partnership or event series that expands our market reach
Begin leading ongoing projects and mentoring team members
Demonstrate mastery of event management systems and processes
Independently navigate complex organizational dynamics and build influential relationships
Within the first 3 months, you'll:
Lead RevenueCat's presence at a major industry conference, owning all strategic and operational aspects
Complete strategic assessment of our event portfolio and present actionable recommendations for optimization
Own end-to-end execution of multiple high-stakes events simultaneously, coordinating complex vendor relationships and internal stakeholders
Design and launch an innovative webinar series that drives measurable lead generation and customer engagement
Establish yourself as the go-to expert for event strategy and execution across the organization
Within the first 6 months, you'll:
Lead strategic initiatives that integrate events with broader marketing and sales objectives
Develop and execute your signature "inflata-cat" moment - a creative, scalable event innovation that becomes part of RevenueCat's brand identity
Mentor junior team members and lead cross-functional project teams
Drive process improvements that increase team efficiency and event effectiveness
After 12 months, you'll have:
Established yourself as a strategic leader who proactively identifies and executes company-critical event initiatives
Full autonomy over major event programs with demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional results with minimal oversight
Led a major strategic initiative (such as establishing a new event category, or driving a significant expansion into new markets through events)
Built systems and processes that scale with the company's growth
