Position Summary
The Amazon Business Solutions Consulting team is dedicated to understanding our Customer’s procure to pay (P2P) processes and systems in order to blueprint solutions that make it easier to buy on Amazon Business. Solution Consultants establish technical and functional credibility in the sales cycles and convey best practices and prescriptive guidance for procurement processes and system design via direct customer/partner interaction. They help drive the evolution of Amazon Business platforms and technologies by providing direct input and feedback from the field to internal product and tech teams.
To support our business growth, we are looking for a Senior Solution Consultant for a full time (40 hours/week) position. In this position, you will work with a wide range of large and complex customers at a senior level (CPO, CFO, CTO) to assess their business and technical requirements, dive deep into their P2P process and systems, and advise them on how to best leverage Amazon Business solution. You will provide technical expertise in systems, processes and solutions, such as punchout integrations, integrated search solutions, e-invoicing, APIs etc., as well as discuss new functional and organizational strategies to help customers achieve their business objectives. You will also work closely with various internal Amazon teams to relay back customer needs and requirements, incl. Sales, Product Management, Category Management, and Amazon Leadership to drive and prioritize solutions for our customers. The ideal candidate enjoys problem solving, has experience developing relationships across functional areas such as Procurement, Finance, and IT, has Procure to Pay (P2P) and B2B technical and functional experience, including platforms like SAP, Oracle, Coupa, and has a proven track record of managing and troubleshooting integration projects.
This is a position requiring office attendance in accordance with our Return-to-Office policy.
Must have prior Procure to Pay (P2P) experience.
Key job responsibilities
A day in the life
Start the day with an Account Manager call, whose customer project you have been assigned to, aligning on the project approach and kick off date. Your next call is with a large, strategic customer who wants to technically integrate with Amazon Business but is unsure of the exact solution. You deep dive with the customer on their requirements and current Procurement set-up. Following this, you provide advice to the customer for the most suitable Amazon Business solution leveraging your expert knowledge in Procurement and Amazon Business features. In the afternoon you have an internal meeting to present an innovative idea to leadership to simplify the customer solution set. You close by planning the customer engagements for the rest of the week and reviewing how you track against your goals.

- Engage with senior customer executives, incl. Procurement, Finance, and Technical leadership to understand pain points, strategy and goals for Purchasing, Finance, and Digitalization
- Gain deep understanding of customer's internal purchase to pay processes and systems to understand their needs and requirements
- Act as the trusted consultant for your customers providing recommendations on how Amazon Business can deliver value for their strategies, processes, and tools
- Recommend solutions to help customers adopt complex business features
- Identify potential risks / gaps and propose potential workarounds
- Build relationship with your customers and gain commitment to implement Amazon Business solution
- Work closely with sales team to provide status updates and insights learned during discovery with the customer
- Relay market needs and requirements back to internal Amazon teams including Product Management, Technical, and Category Management teams
- Lead project evaluation against predefined KPIs, and meet or exceed targets for customers and spend adoption

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- - Knowledge of procurement, source to pay (P2P) and source to pay systems and processes
- - Experience translating customer needs into business requirements
- - Experience positioning and selling innovative solutions to new and existing customers and market segments
- - 3+ years of B2B implementation or services delivery experience
- - Excellent communications skills with the ability to manage challenging conversations in a professional manner
- - Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- - Professional fluency in French and English languages
- - Experience translating customer needs into business requirements
- - Experience positioning and selling innovative solutions to new and existing customers and market segments
- - 3+ years of B2B implementation or services delivery experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- - 5+ years of ERP, eProcurement or AP Automation experience
- - Experience with procurement technology and working knowledge of Coupa, SAP, and Oracle systems
- - Professional fluency in German, Italian, Spanish
- - Experience influencing at all levels within an organization, particularly at the executive level
- - Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects including work prioritization, resource coordination, planning, and task delegation
