We are looking for a Senior UX/UI Design Consultant who will be part of the Board Professional Services team with the specific role to define UX Board Best Practices and templates AND support customers in the field to turn our software into easy-to-use products for our clients.

This role's responsibilities include gathering user requirements, designing graphic elements and building navigation components. To be successful in this role, you should have experience with design software and wireframe tools. If you also have a portfolio of professional design projects that includes work with BI and CPM applications, we’d like to meet you.

This position is located in Madrid, where we embrace flexibility through a hybrid working schedule with 3 days at the office and 2 days working from home each week.

Responsibilities:

• Create user-centered dashboard designs by understanding business requirements, the voice of the customer, user journeys, customer feedback, and capabilities of Board.
• Build wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes, moving efficiently from low to high fidelity.
• Illustrate design concepts, use sitemaps, process flows, and storyboards.
• Identify and troubleshoot UX problems by creating heuristic evaluations (e.g. responsiveness and performance).
• Collaborate with CS teams to propose and apply layout adjustments based on user feedback.
• Maintain consistency with design standards (fonts, colors, images, and dashboards templates).
• Involvement in the process, from gathering requirements, through the completion of implementation, according to the project’s needs.
• Assist the Board Pre-sales Team during the preparation of a Proof of Concept (POC) and product demonstrations.
• Continuously acquire deep product knowledge and UX expertise in the Board ecosystem.

Requirements:

• Educational background in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a UX/UI Designer with a solid foundation in Graphic and Visual Design.
• Solid UI & Graphic Design foundation: visual design, typography, color theory, layout; capable of delivering polished and professional dashboards.
• Strong User Research & UX Design skills: usability testing, empathy, user-centric thinking; ensures solutions are grounded in real user needs.
• Figma proficiency for wireframes, mockups, and prototypes; ability to move quickly from low to high fidelity.
• Experience in data-driven and systems design: information architecture, KPIs, filters, navigation, and data visualization; selecting the right charts for clear storytelling
• Previous experience working with multiple clients across sectors, adapting solutions to diverse business needs.
• Quick learner of new software and technologies but fully committed to working exclusively with Board; motivated to specialize deeply in its ecosystem.
• Ability to work autonomously, manage priorities, and deliver solutions without constant supervision.
• Strong team player with good interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Critical thinking, decision making, problem solving, and attention to detail.
• English proficiency.

Strong-Adds / Nice-to-Have:

• Consulting experience with multiple clients and sectors, adapting solutions to diverse business needs.
• Business/Financial Acumen: awareness of KPIs, metrics, dashboards in context, and financial statements.
• Previous experience with BI or CPM applications (not mandatory if strong dashboard design experience).
