At Nexthink, we are transforming the way Product Operations and Product Education scale their impact. We are looking for a Software Automation Engineer to design and implement intelligent automation solutions that streamline processes, eliminate manual work, and enable our teams to deliver value faster.
In this role, you’ll blend engineering, automation, and AI innovation—working with tools such as AWS, GitHub Actions, Microsoft Power Automate, and REST APIs, and large language models to build the next generation of workflows. What you’ll do
Build & Innovate
Design, develop, and maintain advanced automation workflows using AWS services, GitHub Actions, Power Automate, and AI-powered tools.
Integrate APIs and AI/LLM capabilities to automate pipelines, content generation, and product operations.
Collaborate & Partner
Work with Product Operations and Product Education teams to identify high-value automation opportunities.
Share best practices, train stakeholders, and enable teams to leverage automation independently.
Optimize & Scale
Administer and optimize the automation environment for performance, reliability, cost, and governance.
Monitor workflow performance, proactively troubleshoot, and iterate for efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications
Must-have
3–5 years in software engineering, process automation, or a related role.
Experience designing and building serverless automation pipelines on AWS Lambda with supporting services (API Gateway, EventBridge, DynamoDB, S3, Secrets Manager).
Familiarity with TypeScript/Node.js, including packaging, testing, and deployment workflows (esbuild, CDK, GitHub Actions).
Proven track record Implement LLM-driven summarization flows using Anthropic Claude or custom agents.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate business needs into scalable solutions.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
Nice-to-have
Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Power Automate (workflow creation and administration).
Experience with REST APIs (integration or development).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.
Knowledge of governance, security, or compliance in automation environments.
Exposure to other workflow automation tools (e.g., Zapier, n8n).
Familiarity with Amazon SES
