Role Overview
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Staff Unity Software Engineer to join our best team!
At Tripledot we work collaboratively in a productive, Agile team environment. You will be a key member of the team. Working primarily in Unity, collaborating with our product owners, designers and tech artists to add new and exciting game features, build tools and help to maintain good health of the game on both IOS and Android. As well as supporting other engineers with guidance and your experience.
Key Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities- Work directly with the Tech Director on multiple mobile game titles.
- Co-ownership of architecture, live ops delivery and optimization.
- Develop new titles, gameplay features and support live operations.
- Optimize code & memory for high performance on iOS and Android.
- Scope out tasks and systems, looking for future improvements.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- 6+ years of experience with the Unity and C#, as a Senior or Staff Engineer.
- A “Can Do” mentality that drives improvement and meeting deadlines.
- Strong mobile gaming and liveops system background.
- Strong architectural, design pattern and system design experience.
- Strong experience with Deep Profiler, Frame Debugger, Memory Profiler.
- Experience with cross-project responsibilities.
- Experience with GLSL/HLSL and ShaderGraph is a plus.
- Experience with networking and multiplayer is a plus.
- Experience with cross-project tooling and velocity improvements.
- Experience with prototyping but also extending a large legacy project.
- A mentor who knows how to advise and grow Seniors and Mid-Engineers.
- Deep understanding of many Unity systems and tools (audio, anims, VFX).
- Excellent English skills, both written and verbal.
