ABOUT THE ROLE AND THE TEAM
As a Strategy Manager - Airports, you will play a key role in shaping and executing strategic and transformation initiatives that drive growth for SITA’s Airports Business Unit (BU).
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Strategy - Airports, you will collaborate closely with product portfolio teams and internal stakeholders to embed strategic thinking across the BU, ensure alignment with broader organizational priorities, and drive impactful, forward-looking initiatives.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Contribute to the development of the Airports BU annual and 3-5 year strategy and transformation plans
- Partner with portfolio teams to develop specific plans for their areas of responsibility, including channel and customer segment strategies
- Drive assigned strategy projects within the Airports BU, including M&A
- Monitor and assess the impact of technology, business and industry trends on the Airports BU
- Track competitor activity and support portfolios with the identification and evaluation of potential partners and acquisition targets
- Support the communication of the Airports BU and portfolio strategies across the BU and to internal partner departments (Sales, Marketing, Finance etc.)
- Facilitate alignment between the Airports BU and the wider SITA organization
- Challenge the entrenched ways of doing things to orchestrate major change toward new revenue streams and business models
Qualifications
ABOUT YOUR EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- Bachelor's degree level or equivalent in a business or technical discipline; Master's degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience in management consulting or relevant corporate roles with a focus on strategy & transformation
- Experience within the Air Transport Industry is strongly preferred, with familiarity with IT systems and digital trends impacting the industry
- Track record of working in cross-functional teams, especially across Strategy, Product, Finance, Marketing, and Sales
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving and resourcefulness
- Capability to prepare high-impact presentations that support executive decision-making
- Strong oral and written communication with an excellent ability to crystalize messages for executives
- Ability to drive workshop facilitation, capability to lead and influence virtual teams within an international environment
