Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!

Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!

Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

✍️ WHAT WOULD YOU NEED? ✍️
+7 years of experience in space systems engineering, with a strong focus on telecom payloads and RF subsystems.
Deep understanding of electronics, radiofrequency, communications, and/or embedded software.
Proven experience as a telecom payload architect, capable of leading the design and validation of complex subsystems.
Strong knowledge of Python and MATLAB for data processing, analysis, and automation.
Ability to manage trade-off studies and propose balanced technical solutions aligned with customer needs and project constraints.
Experience preparing technical documentation: specifications, design justifications, analysis reports, user manuals, etc.
Critical thinking and decision-making skills based on consistent technical information.
Fluent in English and Spanish (spoken and written).
A proactive, collaborative mindset and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Lead the technical design of space telecom subsystems, including RF, digital and analog electronics, data processing, software, and firmware.
Evaluate and propose system architectures that meet mission requirements and constraints.
Develop, build, and validate solutions considering the entire system lifecycle.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation and data packages for all project phases.
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
Support integration, testing, and troubleshooting of telecom payload components.
Contribute to design reviews and customer interactions as a technical reference.
