1. Lead Test Strategy and Execution for Advanced Battery Cells. Define and execute test strategies for lithium-ion cells across various formats, overseeing electrical, environmental, and safety testing to validate performance and regulatory compliance throughout development phases.
2. Drive Test Data Analysis and Technical Issue Management. Conduct in-depth analysis of cell test data to identify root causes, ensure traceability, and escalate critical issues; provide actionable insights through structured reporting and cross-functional communication with R&D, safety, and quality stakeholders.
3. Coordinate Complex Resource and Interface Management. Oversee resource planning across internal teams and external partners, ensuring optimized use of lab assets, personnel, and schedules while coordinating test workflows across divisions and supplier ecosystems.
4. Develop and Standardize Test Methods and Measurement Protocols. Lead the development, validation, and harmonization of measurement procedures, ensuring high-quality, reproducible test results that meet internal standards, regulatory requirements, and global technical norms.
5. Architect and Build Internal Battery Cell Test Center. Spearhead the design and realization of an internal battery cell test center, translating technical requirements into facility concepts, infrastructure design, and lab workflows aligned with long-term product development and safety objectives.
6. Define Technical Specifications and Lead Equipment Procurement. Draft detailed technical specifications for test systems and lab assets; manage supplier evaluation, bid comparisons, and decision preparation, ensuring that procurement aligns with both functional needs and strategic direction.
7. Commission and Qualify Custom Test Systems. Oversee the commissioning and acceptance of complex test equipment, including test benches, automation setups, and safety infrastructure—ensuring operational readiness, compliance, and integration into validation workflows.
8. Ensure Project Integration and Operational Scalability. Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to resolve technical challenges, establish scalable lab processes, and support roadmap alignment, investment planning, and HSE compliance throughout the lifecycle of the test center.
- 5 yrs development experience in automotive battery cell manufacturer.
- Experience on projects went through SOP/mass production phase.
- Master’s degree in chemistry, material, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering or related field.
