Are you interested in joining a dynamic and international team of professionals to transform education? IE University's Asset Management & Planning department is looking for an Academic Innovation Scaling Associate Director to join its team!
The Academic Innovation Scaling Associate Director will support the activities of digital transformation projects for the improvement of the processes and IT tools of the IE operations. The position will involve active participation in the stages of analysis and definition, implementation, training and evaluation of results of each project, interacting with key stakeholders and external players.

We are looking for a person to join a full-time position in Madrid
Your role as an Academic Innovation Scaling Associate Director will involve:
- Collect information and data from diverse sources for the understanding of the processes/projects to be managed.
- Proposing process optimization solutions by identifying fhe key areas for improvement.
- Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders, with findings, proposals, data analysis and definition of requirements.
- Be the communication link between the customer and the Software Engineers to ensure the correct understanding of the requirements.
- Develop test cases for validation of the technology developments.
- Supporting the implementation of the tools developed in the projects, through training, incident assistance and daily operation
- Management. Be the point of communication with the IT area.
- Researching of technological innovations that can be applied our business development.
- Prepare internal documentation of the processes. Support the execution of the Process Improvement division's activities.
To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Master's degree level.
Fluent in English and Spanish (written and oral).
Minimum 3 years of experience in Project Management, preferably in the implementation of innovative technologies within academic programs or educational institutions.
Knowledge of Project Management Tools (MS Project, Trello).
Desirable knowledge of Content and Video Design Tools (Power Point, Canva, Google Page, Wordpress).
General knowledge of IT and Technology management.
Desiderable high level understanding of Database Query Tools (SQL, Power BI).
Critical and analytical thinking, problem solver and results-oriented person. Teamwork and negotiation skills dealing with miltinations/multicultural teams. Keen attention to detail.
Strong organizational and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneusly.
