Accountant Payables

Your Mission and responsibilities will be:

The Accountant manages accounting transactions with supplier payables.

Responsibilities:

• Check & record daily accounting transactions in assigned area according to the local law and MAF standards

• Execute subsequent operations in account system (payments reconciliation, items clearing, bank accounts booking...)

• Prepare Balance Sheet justification (payables sub ledger, analytical trend review)

• Prepare supporting documentation for audits and Tax inspections

• Communicate with partners (external and internal)

• Declare, explain and solve accounting differences with the support of site accounting support (price, volume, payment...), especially for inter-companies transactions

• Pilot customer litigations review with Site Financial Controllers

• First level of overdue recovery

• Secure with his/her team upcoming overdue risk and work to solve overdue of prior months

• Supervise Customer debit note process

• Pilot weekly overdue review with Treasury team and Site Financial team

• Check Primary documents requirements (master datas, shipping…) and supervise Customer Master data creation of his perimeter/ modification process

• Record archive

• E-Proc requests approving (account number check)

• Improve constantly the performance of the A/R team through the implementation of lean processes and efficient IS tools with the support of SSC Finance Process Manager (EDI, customer invoice automation, updated procedures...)

• Contribute to A/R project

• Improve constantly the performance of his/her accounting team through the implementation of lean processes and efficient IS tools with the support of SSC Finance Process Manager (EDI, supplier invoice automation, updated procedures...)

• Contribute to Group Ethics & Compliance program by applying and respecting code of Ethics and Valeo’s policies.
