JOB PURPOSE
As part of the ESI Brand and Content Marketing team, reporting directly to the Senior Director Brand and Content, this role will closely collaborate with the ESI Alliances Senior Marketing Manager, VP Global Alliances and Channels and the alliances sales team to drive incremental sales growth.
The Alliance Events Marketing Manager will be responsible for the programme management and execution of the annual calendar of events with our alliance partners to support company goals around brand awareness, lead generation and expanding our existing client base. Events will take place in the EMEA, APAC and LATAM regions.
Alliance marketing is pivotal for ADP’s growth and sales success, strengthening ADP’s position as the leader in payroll and HR solutions and services.
The Alliance Events Marketing Manager will be required to work cross-functionally and collaborate with senior leaders, sales and product leaders, and the wider marketing team. This role will work closely with digital and demand, field and growth marketing, product marketing and sales teams to ensure consistent event messaging and themes are adopted and events are activated successfully.
This is a new role and an exciting opportunity to help grow the ADP business with alliance partners.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as the main point of contact for alliance partners for all event-related activity
- Work cross-functionally with the ESI alliances sales team to develop the annual event plan. This will include sponsoring alliance partner events, managing ADP events targeting alliance partners and running events in collaboration with alliance partners.
- With the support of the ESI Alliances Senior Marketing Manager, manage alliance events from start to finish, including defining objectives, event format selection, event planning, event promotion, execution of the event, measuring and analysing results and follow-up activities.
- Form an excellent relationship with core marketing agencies and event partners to support event programme development and execution
- Manage and maintain event inventory, purchasing and shipping to events, sales offices, and partners (enabled via third-party)
- Budget management, including managing individual event budgets, raising purchase orders, new vendor assurance process and reconciling costs post-event
- Run a comprehensive internal communications program, ensuring messaging and content are shared with internal stakeholders pre- and post-event
- Measure key success metrics for alliance marketing events, ensure timely lead upload post-event and contribute to reporting on event success
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Ability to think creatively and develop new and innovative ways to connect with our target audience through our alliance event programme
- Strong project management skills with superb attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and facilitation skills, with a results-oriented mindset and a high sense of urgency
- Proven history of managing multiple projects on tight deadlines and driving meaningful results
- Proven ability to understand service-based and technical solutions, with an understanding of the HCM market an advantage
- Partner marketing experience is a plus, with ERP marketing experience an advantage
- Previous demonstrated linkage of marketing events activity to clear commercial results and alignment to the broader corporate strategy
- Willingness to travel
- 3+ years marketing/events experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience in managing events or projects across multiple countries or regions
- Fluency in English – written and spoken
- Degree level or professional certification in marketing or a relevant subject
