The Cloud and Infrastructure team is responsible for both deploying and maintaining SCADA equipment at the plants, as well as maintaining the associated DataLayer infrastructure. By Automation Engineer, we refer to a DevOp with knowledge of Infrastructure and development who can perform automation tasks related to the deployment and configuration of our infrastructure and SCADA systems.

Skills Required:
Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
Experience with tools like Puppet for configuration management.
Knowledge of PowerShell (PWS) for task automation in Windows environments.
Virtualization:
Experience with Hyper-V for creating and managing virtual machines.
Knowledge of Windows Core Server administration.
Automation:
Ability to automate the deployment and configuration of SCADA systems.
Experience in scripting to automate repetitive processes.
Operating Systems:
Advanced knowledge of Windows Server, especially in SCADA environments.
Familiarity with Linux operating systems.
Databases:
Experience in configuring and managing databases.
DevOps:
Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD).
Experience in managing infrastructure and deployments in production environments.
Security:
Knowledge of best security practices to protect SCADA systems and associated infrastructure.
Problem Solving:
Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
Teamwork and Communication:
Ability to collaborate with other teams and effectively communicate technical solutions.
