Vall d’Hebron Institute of Research (VHIR) is a public sector institution which promotes research and innovation.
Within VHIR there are several clinical research groups.
We are looking for a Clinical Trial Research Coordinator to manage and coordinate clinical research trials in all the steps of the process: programming trial visits, managing documents and records of participants and trials, data entry for clinical trials ensuring trials are delivered following regulatory, government, and ethical regulations and requirements.
Education and qualifications:
Required:- Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences (Nursery, Medicine, Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry,..) or equivalent work experience required.
- Master in monitoring and management of clinical trials.
Experience and knowledge:
Required:- Project management experience.
- Previous experience in clinical trials.
- English language (minimum B2).
- Knowledge of Windows office package, internet, and medical databases.
- Organized and methodological person.
- Research skills.
- Multi-skilled person and motivated to project management.
- Knowledge of budgeting and financial principals.
- Communication skills.
Main responsibilities and duties:
- Participates in the planning & conduct of research study including participant. recruitment and retention.
- Obtains informed consent.
- Administers tests &/or questionnaires following protocols.
- Collects, compiles, tabulates & processes responses.
- Clinical data entry.
- Extracts & analyzes data from medical charts.
Labour conditions:
- Full-time position (40h/week)
- Starting date: 9th May 2022
- Length of the contract: 6 month period renewable.
- Gross annual salary according to professional category by VHIR: 26,000€
