We are looking for a passionate and motivated Pastry Commis Chef to join our pastry team. This entry-level position is ideal for someone eager to learn and grow within a professional kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the daily preparation and production of pastries, desserts, and other baked items.
- Ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of your workstation in compliance with food safety standards.
- Support the team during service, plating and garnishing desserts with precision.
- Communicate effectively with team members and contribute to a positive kitchen atmosphere.
Requirements:
- Some experience or training in a professional kitchen or pastry environment is requiered.
- Culinary or pastry school education is a strong advantage.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Willingness to learn, take direction, and work as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
