Job Description
If you think you could support Visa as a Solution Architect, in our Client Service function to perform a critical role integrating Visa’s clients and digital partners into Visa’s network, we want to hear from you – together, let’s make Visa a great place to work.
The Solution Architect will work cross-functionally and with a diverse set of Visa clients, merchants, Token Requestor, Digital Service Provider and other payment ecosystem partners to deliver digital services into the markets. The role will be predominately focused on integrating digital partners and Visa clients into Visa network. This role would be ideal for a candidate with an engineering or product consultant background looking to build upon that experience in the product integration in payment industry.
Key work outputs and accountabilities
- Support Visa Token Service (VTS) and other digital products rollouts
- Provide on-field and remote first level technical support for digital integrations
- Work closely with Client Service teams and other stakeholders to deliver quality digital service to clients
- Provide technical integration support for the Visa Digital Solutions SDK, and other digital products
- Support the on-boarding process for digital and API based products and services
- Work in conjunction with global and/or regional staff with regards to supporting client integrations
- Maintain client satisfaction by supporting engagements resulting in successful go-lives
- Work with team members to leverage learnings from projects across the world
- Support new digital product/service integration activities.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

- For this role the key skills and qualification required are:
- Bachelors degree in computer science/electrical engineering, or equivalent technology expertise and acumen acquired through work experience
- Experience progressively responsible experience in product development and product integration in eCom business or payments industry
- Experience in handling API integrations using XML and JSON for large platform
- Demonstrable knowledge in Java, SQL and Linux
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work across multiple teams stationed in different time zones in an organization
- Ability to manage customer expectations
- Complex and varied workload, required to support multiple ongoing implementations
- Advanced planning, organizational and problem solving skills
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills, sound interpersonal and presentation skills and ability to influence and communicate effectively across all stakeholders
- Desired experience and qualifications:
- In-depth knowledge on eComm, merchant/gateway payment integration
- Preferred experience in an engineering or product consultant role with international experience
- Understanding of mobile payments technology, including NFC, secure elements, contactless payments, online/remote payments, and in app payments
- Familiarity with Visa payment products, including the underlying specifications and relationship to EMV and Global Platform standards bodies
- Ability to travel as needed (not expected to exceed 10%)
- A second European language – preferred but not required
