About the role
Are you passionate about making a real impact in the areas of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) and fostering vibrant internal communities?
We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive Culture Intern (ESG & Community Engagement) to join our team in either Barcelona or Madrid. Reporting directly to the Senior Director for Culture and Learning, you will play a crucial role in driving key initiatives that enhance our company culture, promote employee well-being, and advance our sustainability goals.

What you will be doing
- As a Culture Intern (ESG & Community Engagement), you will be instrumental in driving key projects and activities across our ESG and people-focused initiatives.
- Your responsibilities will include:
ESG & Sustainability Initiatives:Partnership Management:- Oversee and cultivate partnerships focused on sustainability initiatives, such as promoting environmental impact programs for employees and communicating our progress.
- Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI): Manage existing partnerships with platforms dedicated to diversity, equity, and inclusion, ensuring optimal utilization and tracking their effectiveness and return on investment.
- Community Awareness & Engagement: Continuously raise awareness of our DEI-focused internal platforms, facilitating employee engagement and promoting opportunities for participation in related events.
- Community Building - ESG Champions: Build and nurture an "ESG Champions" community – identifying and engaging employees interested and motivated by ESG-related topics.
Internal Communications & Recognition:- Departmental Recognition Programs: Support the launch of a company-wide departmental recognition programs, collaborating with stakeholders at varying levels to define criteria, timelines, and the overall approach. This includes ongoing management, promotion, and tracking of each award.
- Milestone Gifts Management: Manage the distribution of milestone gifts for new joiners and long-service anniversaries, coordinating relevant marketing, communication, and distribution logistics, and tracking gift allocations.
- Internal Communications Platform Management: Manage and update content on our internal communications platforms (e.g., intranet pages), including creation, updates, and a comprehensive review and revamp of all content.
- Internal Campaigns: Provide end-to-end management for key DEI-focused internal campaigns, from planning to execution and post-campaign analysis, raising funds, and awareness and building a sense of community within the organization.
Employee Well-being & Development:- Well-being Partnership Management: Manage the vendor relationship with our employee well-being tool, implementing strategies to increase usage and uptake, and actively promoting its benefits to employees.
- Onboarding Program Management: Support the end-to-end management of our employee onboarding program.
- Manager Onboarding Program Management: Support the end-to-end management of our manager onboarding program.
What you will bring to Ogury
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in a relevant field such as Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, Sustainability, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- Ideally, nearing the completion of your studies, but we also welcome applications from students halfway through their program.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken) is essential.
- A strong interest in ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance), corporate social responsibility, and community building.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized with strong project management abilities, a keen eye for detail, and the capacity to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Prior internship or volunteer experience in a related field is a plus.
