Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our growing consulting team in Spain. As a Delivery Leader in a multinational project in public health, you will support the delivery of outcomes in preventing childhood obesity, working jointly with the client, partners, and the local government on the ground to plan for delivery, monitor progress, and solve implementation challenges.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, rigorous, resilient, and impact-driven. You will be skilled at efficiently managing the project, developing high-quality outputs, and planning and facilitating the engagement with a large number of partners. You should have good written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish to ensure smooth collaboration and communication across all stakeholders.
The candidate needs to be based in Spain, ideally in Madrid. This is a fixed-term employee (CDD) role being offered as a 12-month engagement, inclusive of requisite employee benefits. There may be an opportunity for the engagement to be extended after the initial 1-year period, depending on performance and business need.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive and support partner organizations in implementing initiatives to prevent childhood obesity, offering expert advice and coaching to achieve tangible results and impact.
- Support the client to accelerate implementation by managing the project and coordinating the planning (i.e., using the workplan, updating the tracker, etc.).
- Engage directly with local governments and partners, facilitating relationship-building, problem-solving, collaboration, and knowledge management with partners.
- Lead data collection for output indicators, field visits, and analytical processes to problem-solve on key bottlenecks and develop robust recommendations for impactful progress.
- Implement prioritized initiatives, working through client team members.
- Plan and support the execution of meetings and stakeholder workshops, ensuring effective routines and the smooth flow of information.
- Contribute to the development of client presentations, reports, and communications materials.
- Facilitate relationship-building, problem-solving, collaboration, and knowledge management with partners and with other country teams.

Required Skills/Experiences:
- Educational background: Bachelor’s degree or above, Master’s (particularly in public health) is preferable. Otherwise, equivalent working experience will also be considered.
- Professional experience: Minimum of 5 years with a successful record in top consulting firms, healthcare organizations, or international organizations.
- Project management: Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects.
- Technical proficiency: Prior experience in a client-facing role in public sector contexts.
- Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities in Spanish and in English.
- Stakeholder management: Strong stakeholder management skills with a history of deepening client relationships.
- Team player: Solid team player with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Authorization + location requirements: The person should be based in Spain (ideally in Madrid), so they can work from the client’s office. The ideal candidate has an existing work authorization in Spain. Delivery Associates will not sponsor applicants for work visas, nor will this role be eligible for employee benefits beyond contractual agreements.
