Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and manage a team of project managers within our digital organization. This role is critical in driving project delivery, implementing project management methodologies, and leading M&A projects to support our digital transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Management:
- Lead and manage a group of project managers, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
- Recruit and onboard new project managers to build a strong project management team.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
Project Delivery
- Accountable for the successful delivery of digital projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Oversee project planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Manage project resources, timelines, and budgets effectively.
Project Management Methodology:
- Deploy and standardize project management methodologies across the organization.
- Develop and implement best practices, tools, and templates for project management.
- Ensure adherence to project management standards and processes.
Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A):
- Lead M&A projects, including due diligence, integration planning, and execution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of acquired entities.
- Manage risks and challenges associated with M&A activities.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Engage with key stakeholders, including senior executives, to communicate project progress, risks, and issues.
- Facilitate decision-making processes and ensure stakeholder alignment.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Performance Monitoring and Portfolio Support:
- Track project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Ensure transparency and accountability in project delivery.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10/15 years of experience in project management, with at least 7 years in leading Projects/Programs within the FMCG/FMCH sector.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PgMP) is preferred.
Skills:
- Demonstrated expertise in managing complex projects within a digital environment.
- Proven ability to handle project complexity and cross-functional teams.
- Solution-driven and strong result-oriented approach.
- Strong budget consciousness and financial management skills.
- Experience in leading mergers and acquisitions (M&A) projects is highly preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of current digital technologies and industry trends.
- Exceptional skills in people management and talent acquisition.
- Proven ability to establish and nurture robust stakeholder relationships.
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving capabilities.
