Job Description Summary
The EPC Partner Performance Manager is responsible for managing and optimizing the performance of Consortium Partners, ensuring they deliver on agreed-upon commitments, meet quality and performance standards, and contribute to the success of our projects. This role involves evaluating partner capabilities, monitoring performance metrics, fostering strong relationships, and implementing improvement initiatives to maximize value and mitigate risks in our partnerships.Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Assess potential new EPC partners capabilities to qualify them for partnering with GE Vernova on future projects
- Define clear performance expectations, KPIs and Consortium Compliance metrics
- Develop and maintain strong relationship with consortium partners, EPC Account Managers, and Consortium Project Managers to ensure alignment with project objectives
- Conduct regular performance audits on consortium project sites
- Monitor Consortium Partner performance through Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost KPIs, and contractual obligations, addressing any deviations proactively
- Collaborate with key stakeholders holders like Consortium Partnering Managers, EPC Proposal Interface Managers, EPC Account Managers, Project Managers, and execution functions to optimize the DoR and Consortium Agreement During partner selection
- Act as the primary point of contact for partner performance issues, ensuring swift resolution
- Identify and assess risks related to partner performance and develop mitigation strategies
- Implement corrective action plans when performance gaps are identified during execution or qualification
- Oversee and optimize the EPC Interface and Partnerships (EPC I&P) group KPIs and processes to improve efficiency and productivity
- Collaborate with cross-functional EPC I&P teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university/college in Engineering or equivalent experience
- Major experience in Project Management or Construction Management
- Fluent English knowledge is essential
Desired Characteristics
- Six Sigma/LEAN trained and certified
- Power Generation Experience
- Strong understanding on Contract Management, risk assessment, and performance metrics
- Excellent Communication and stake holder management skills
- Ability to work in a cross functional environment
