Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Executive Chef in leading and managing day-to-day kitchen operations
- Oversee food preparation and presentation across multiple outlets with a strong focus on à la carte service
- Train, motivate and supervise junior kitchen staff to maintain five-star culinary standards
- Ensure all dishes meet quality, taste, and visual expectations
- Control food cost, inventory, and kitchen hygiene procedures in line with company standards
- Participate in menu planning and development with a seasonal and innovative mindset
- Uphold food safety and hygiene regulations (HACCP) at all times
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Sous Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a luxury restaurant or hotel setting
- Strong à la carte background is mandatory
- Excellent understanding of European or international fine dining cuisine
- Solid leadership, organizational and mentoring skills
- Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining high standards
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and kitchen operations
- Excellent communication in English (spoken and written)
