What you’ll do & Who you are
Adevinta is undergoing a major Finance transformation, establishing a new global operating model supported by both local and centralized functions (OTC, P2P, R2R) and a global BPO partner (in Cluj and Bangalore).
As a FinOps Reporting & Data Analyst, you will play a key role in enabling data-driven decision-making by delivering accurate, insightful and timely financial reports across Finance Operations. You will partner closely with Global Process Owners to support operational performance, ensure compliance, and drive process efficiency — especially within Order-to-Cash (OTC), Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Record-to-Report (R2R) processes.
This is a highly analytical and business-oriented role, where understanding the underlying financial processes is just as important as strong technical reporting skills. The role can be based in Barcelona or Amsterdam, working in a hybrid model as part of an international team.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and automate performance dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or Looker for real-time visibility into OTC, P2P, and R2R metrics
- Collaborate with Global Process Owners and Finance Systems teams to gather requirements and deliver impactful reporting solutions
- Analyze operational and financial performance, identify risks and inefficiencies, and present actionable insights to senior stakeholders
- Support compliance by ensuring reporting is aligned with internal control frameworks and external audit requirements (e.g., SOX)
- Consolidate and validate data from SAP S4 and data warehouses, in collaboration with MDM analysts
- Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement within financial reporting and analysis
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and audit-readiness of all reporting outputs
- Support Finance transformation initiatives and continuous improvement efforts across the global FinOps function
Your Profile
- 7–12 years of relevant experience in Finance Operations, Shared Services, or reporting roles within multinational environments
- Solid understanding of OTC, P2P and R2R process cycles and how they impact business performance
- Hands-on experience with SAP S4, and familiarity with systems such as Blackline or OneStream
- Advanced Excel and strong proficiency with Tableau, Power BI, or other BI/reporting tools
- Familiarity with SQL and data modeling concepts is a plus
- Understanding of internal control frameworks and SOX compliance
- Proven ability to deliver results in a matrixed, fast-paced, and changing environment
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of other European languages (e.g., Spanish, French) is a plus
