Anchor Point Studios is on the hunt for a creative and technically sharp Cinematic Artist for a 6 month engagement, to help contribute to the development of cinematics in our unannounced action-adventure game
What You’ll Do:
- Assist the Cinematics Director in the creation of real-time cinematics using Unreal Engine.
- Fine tune camera framing and movements.
- Create assets using 3D software such as Maya or Blender that can be used to block out scenes in previs
- Setup initial lighting for scenes.
- Animate key poses that showcase appealing gestures and facial expression that bring characters to life.
- Contribute to a highly collaborative environment that seeks to push creative boundaries, iterating quickly on ideas while also supporting and developing the ideas of teammates.
- Find solutions to any needs that arise in support of cinematic development.
What We’re Looking For:
- 2-4 years of experience creating real-time cinematics for games.
- Thorough knowledge and experience utilizing Unreal Engine 5 in cinematic development.
- Passion for filmmaking and visual storytelling.
- Fundamental knowledge of cinematography, cameras, and visual composition.
- Fundamental knowledge of animation principles.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Strong proficiency using Maya or Blender.
