Overview
The Quality Project Manager (QPM) is responsible for overseeing the changes/updates in projects while providing dedicated support to the Language Lead and Quality Manager (QM) for assigned locale. This role combines traditional PM responsibilities with quality control, team administration, and client reporting functions to ensure the highest standards of delivery. The QPM acts as the point of contact between PAs/PCs and SPMs/project developers, keeping projects on track, making key decisions, and helping to maintain and improve quality across the team.
Duties and Responsibilities
Reviews reports on daily production, passes relevant information up.
Double checks timekeeping records and submits them. Approval of PA/PC hours.
Follows and helps to update Lean documentation.
Creates training specifics for projects. Trains PCs.
Meets with project developers for updates on project specifics.
Addresses project issues on a project level.
Work with other PCs, PMs, and SPMs to ensure appropriate coverage of all duties within the appropriate process flow.
Respond to ambiguities/changes/updates from SPM(s) in a timely manner and ensure they are passed down to other team members.
Identify and communicate process improvements or areas of waste to enhance process flow and promote efficiency, while collecting and passing these on from team members below.
Complete End of Day (EOD) reporting pertaining to process flow to ensure proper hand off to the next shift owners.
Meet or exceed all daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs pertaining to the specific process flow of the assigned project.

Additional Quality and Language Lead Support Responsibilities
Assist the Language Lead in the administration and coordination of the language team, including scheduling, task assignments, and resource tracking.
Monitor, control, and report on team quality metrics, ensuring deliverables meet client standards and internal KPIs.
Prepare and submit quality and productivity reports to the client at agreed intervals, highlighting achievements, risks, and improvement plans.
Collaborate closely with the Language Lead to investigate and resolve quality or productivity issues, proposing solutions and driving corrective actions.
Support the development and refinement of guidelines, training materials, and best practices to continuously improve team performance.
Act as a bridge between the quality team, Language Lead, and PM/SPM structure, ensuring alignment of quality goals and operational execution.
Carry out daily and periodic reviews of contributor performance, following the criteria and methods set by the QM.
Track and flag low performers based on review data and agreed metrics, and report them to the internal QA team.
Follow up on flagged contributors: gather internal QA team recommendations and check with the QM or senior QA before taking further steps.
Work with the PM to arrange removal, feedback, or retraining of contributors, as advised by the QM.
Prepare and maintain records of performance issues, flagged cases, and actions taken, ensuring transparency and consistency.
Ensure all feedback or retraining provided to contributors is reviewed and approved by the QM before being shared.
Keep the QM updated on trends, emerging risks, and the effectiveness of any interventions.
Support the QM in collecting, organizing, and analyzing QA data for reporting purposes.
Help coordinate scheduled audits, focused reviews, and follow-up checks.
Act as the go-to person for operational quality questions from the project team, ensuring clarity on expectations.
Help detect and flag good performers to the QM for potential elevation to QA or auditor positions.
Requirements
Native in German, and fluent in English.
College/University degree.
Basic familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
General knowledge of online communication.
Willingness to work overtime if necessary.
Remote until project requires to come to the office.
Leadership qualities including the ability to give/take feedback, recognition of when to delegate, and confidence.
Ability to follow directions and perform time bound tasks accurately and efficiently.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks without degradation in quality.
Detail-oriented problem-solving mindset.

Strong analytical and reporting skills, able to prepare accurate productivity and quality reports for clients.
