Schneider Digital is the digital department of Schneider Electric, leading the digital transformation in the company by giving support globally to our internal teams and our clients. Schneider Digital consists of 6 Digital Hubs worldwide which are strategically located to ensure a 24/7 support across the company (France, China, India, USA, Mexico and Spain). Our Digital Hub in Barcelona is formed by +450 employees working in strategic projects and different roles such as Data, Cybersecurity, ERP, Cloud, Infrastructures, IT Project Management or Digital Marketing.

What will you do?


The Program Manager in our IT team is responsible for leading the successful delivery of complex infrastructure programs, with a strong focus on industrialization and stakeholder management. This role involves:

  • Managing Infrastructure Programs: Overseeing end-to-end delivery of infrastructure initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals, timelines, and budgets.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Acting as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, managing expectations, and ensuring transparent communication across all levels.
  • Team Leadership: Leading cross-functional project teams, assigning responsibilities, and fostering collaboration to achieve program milestones.
  • Budget Oversight: Managing program budgets, tracking expenditures, and ensuring financial accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Risk and Issue Management: Identifying potential risks and issues early, developing mitigation strategies, and ensuring timely resolution.
  • Industrialization Focus: Driving the standardization and scalability of infrastructure solutions, particularly in industrial environments, to support operational efficiency and long-term sustainability.
  • Project Governance: Ensuring adherence to governance frameworks, reporting standards, and compliance requirements.

Additionally, the Program Manager is responsible for:

  • Strategic Alignment: Participating in strategic planning discussions to ensure infrastructure programs support broader business objectives.
  • Continuous Improvement: Promoting best practices in project and program management, and identifying opportunities for process optimization.
  • Transition to Operations: Coordinating with delivery and operations teams to ensure smooth handover and long-term support readiness.
Qualifications:
What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
    • Proven experience managing complex infrastructure projects, ideally in industrial or manufacturing environments.
    • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align diverse interests.
    • Demonstrated leadership in managing cross-functional teams and external vendors.
    • Solid understanding of infrastructure technologies (networking, compute, storage, cloud).
    • High degree of autonomy and accountability.
    • Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira and ServiceNow.
    • Minimum of 5 years in a similar role, preferably within a global or matrixed organization.
