Job description
In a context of growth and structuring around our major industrial building projects as a General Contractor, we are looking for an HVAC Design Engineer for our Madrid office.
Working autonomously from requirements definition through to project handover, you will manage the mechanical package design studies (HVAC, Plumbing...), ensure smooth coordination with construction teams, and provide technical support throughout the construction phases. You will be responsible for the financial monitoring during the design phases.
More specifically, your main responsibilities will include:
- Designing optimized technical solutions (sizing of technical installations, drafting of specifications, etc.),
- Overseeing the production of technical drawings (plans, diagrams) in collaboration with the Design & BIM teams,
- Reviewing, analyzing, and challenging contractors' bids,
- Ensuring the technical choices made for mechanical package are aligned with the project's goals,
- Leading technical meetings and supporting the proper execution of works on site,
- Participating in commissioning phases and conducting pre-handover inspections.
Profile
With a degree in Engineering specializing in Mechanical Engineering, you have at least 5 years of experience in the design of industrial buildings projects. You are recognized for your ability to unite operational teams, and you demonstrate strong analytical, interpersonal, and adaptability skills.
Speaking fluently Spanish and English is a must.
As site visits may be required, you are open to occasional travel.
